Pre-straightening machine + DQ + ACC + thermal straightening machine (TMCP's most advanced supporting equipment and technology)

The pre-leveling machine has a leveling force of 2000 tons. The steel plate cooling system fully adopts advanced designs from SMS group. It includes an ultra-fast cooling section (DQ) and a laminar flow cooling section (ACC). The DQ section uses medium-pressure water jet cooling, enabling online quenching with a maximum cooling rate of 75°C/s; the ACC section uses high-density laminar flow cooling with a maximum cooling rate of 40°C/s. The cooling speed can be flexibly controlled by selecting a DQ+ACC combined cooling method according to the set cooling speed, thereby achieving different microstructures and properties.

5000mm Reversible Single-Stand CVC Rolling Mill

Torque of 2122 kNm, ranked first in the world; rolling force of 12,000 tons, first in the country; frame stiffness reaching 9500 kN/mm. Utilizes advanced plate shape control and automatic thickness control technologies such as roller shifting, bending rollers, thermal crown control, and hydraulic AGC.

Four-roll reversible furnace coil rolling mill

Four-roll reversible furnace coil rolling mill, capable of rolling workpieces over 400 meters in length, ranks first in domestic production efficiency. During the rolling process, the workpieces are kept warm to ensure uniform temperature, improving the uniformity of mechanical properties. It can precisely control thickness and plate shape, adapting to the production of various specifications of plates, balancing flexibility and accuracy, and is widely used in rolling stainless steel and special steel.

Laiwu 4300mm wide thick plate

Completed and put into operation in September 2009, it is the most advanced wide and thick plate production line in terms of domestic equipment technology. The main equipment and technology were introduced from Outokumpu and Siemens. It has the most complete domestic supporting heat treatment production line. The production line adopts internationally leading design concepts and equipment technology, the world's most advanced scale removal system, high-precision automatic thickness control technology, flatness control technology, and MULPIC accelerated cooling technology.

Electric furnace

Electric arc steelmaking effectively adjusts the atmosphere inside the furnace, providing high-quality molten steel for the production of high-grade alloy steel. An electric furnace is a metallurgical device that converts electrical energy into heat energy, melting scrap steel and other raw materials through electrode arcs or induction. According to the heating method, it can be divided into arc furnaces and induction furnaces. It features precise temperature control, strong adaptability to raw materials (can use more scrap steel), and better environmental performance. It is commonly used for smelting special steel and stainless steel, allowing flexible adjustment of molten steel composition to meet the needs of small-batch, multi-variety production.

Converter

The converter has a fast production speed, large output, high single-furnace capacity, and effectively ensures the supply of molten steel, enabling large-scale production on the production line. The converter is the core equipment for steelmaking, using molten iron as raw material and blowing oxygen from the top or top-bottom composite to rapidly oxidize and remove impurities such as carbon, silicon, and phosphorus. The single furnace capacity ranges from several tens to several hundred tons, with a short smelting cycle (about 30-40 minutes) and high efficiency. It can produce carbon steel, low alloy steel, and others. It features a compact structure and relatively low energy consumption, making it the main equipment for large-scale steelmaking in modern steel enterprises.

Billet Continuous Casting Machine

Maximum cross-sectional size of continuous casting slab: 300mm × 2500mm. Equipped with dynamic soft reduction and electromagnetic stirring (EMC) functions to ensure the internal quality of the slab, fully guaranteeing the high-quality steel billets required for high-grade steel plates. The slab continuous casting machine is a key piece of equipment that continuously casts molten steel into slabs, consisting of a mold, secondary cooling zone, and straightening machine. Molten steel is poured from the tundish into the mold, initially solidifies, then is continuously withdrawn, and fully solidifies into slabs through secondary cooling. It can produce wide slabs with high efficiency and high metal yield, can be directly supplied to rolling lines, and serves as an efficient link between steelmaking and rolling in modern steel enterprises, suitable for large-scale plate production.

Mold Casting Production Line

Possesses the country's largest 9 steel ingot mold casting lines, with a maximum single ingot weight of 55 tons, and up to 80 tons in special cases. The mold casting production line is a traditional process line that casts molten steel into ingots, including equipment such as ladles, tundishes, and crystallizers. After the molten steel is deoxidized, it is poured into the casting mold and cooled to solidify into ingots. It can produce various cross-section steel ingots, suitable for small batches and large-sized steel (such as steel for forgings), with a simple and flexible process. Although its efficiency is lower than continuous casting, it meets the requirements of special steel grades for uniform composition and low segregation, and is often used in the production of high-end alloy steels.

Heat Treatment Equipment

The most comprehensive domestic medium and heavy plate heat treatment equipment. Furnace types include normalizing furnace, quenching furnace, external machine furnace, undercarriage furnace, tempering furnace, and slow cooling pit. Equipped with quenching, tempering, normalizing, and annealing functions.
