Recently, Beigang New Materials achieved a milestone breakthrough in the field of marine steel products. The first batch 57 tons of S30408 marine-grade stainless steel plates have been officially delivered and will be used in the manufacturing of critical components for the Pinglu Canal demonstration vessel. This achievement marks a pivotal milestone, signaling North Port New Materials' successful transition from R&D to mass production of marine-grade stainless steel plates.
As a key foundational material in the shipbuilding industry, S30408 marine-grade stainless steel, developed through precise carbon-nitrogen element control technology and a dual-refining process system, boasts exceptional adaptability to extreme environments. It maintains stable mechanical properties even in ultra-low temperature conditions, while consistently delivering superior resistance to seawater corrosion.
To ensure the materials precisely align with the core design concept of the Pinglu Canal demonstration vessel, Beigang New Materials has collaborated with NanHua Group and Beigang Jingxing to establish a system. The service system of "Demand Customization – Full-Process Collaboration – Precise Delivery." This breakthrough in mass production not only validates Beigang New Materials' comprehensive technological strength across the entire chain—from specialized stainless steel R&D to manufacturing—but also injects "Beigang Power" into China's shipbuilding industry chain.
